Happy Friday! We are here for another FishIn48 Friday tip of the week/product review. Recently there has been a great bite up the river at Lake Pleasant for white bass, stripers and some largemouth mixed in as well. I wanted to go over a bait that we have been crushing them on, The Arizona Custom Baits – ringed swimbait. This bait is a must have on your boat year round. It’s very effective during the shad spawn and during the fall when the bait is being pushed into the backs of creeks. Try graphing over secondary points, or the last steep ledge in the creek to find them during the fall. The baits are great to have for multiple reasons. You can fish them in all areas of the water column year round and use them as trailers on A-Rigs, Chatterbaits, Swim jigs, and Underspins. If you are targeting suspended fish maybe try a 1/4 oz jig head or a 3/8 oz depending on the depth the fish are at. When fishing the shad spawn or when they are boiling on top try and 1/8 oz jig head.
