The second event of the Lifted Trucks Cactus Cup Team Trail at Martinez Lake was one for the books! Breaking records with an impressive turnout of 94 boats, this Arizona fishing tournament has cemented itself as a must-attend event for competitive anglers. Martinez Lake shattered the previous Cactus Cup record of 71 boats from last year, setting the stage for an exciting day of big bags, tough competition, and thrilling moments on the water.
Cody Benton & Josh Hodges Take Commanding Victory
Local anglers Cody Benton and Josh Hodges put on a masterclass, securing a 4-pound victory over the competition. Their massive 25.69-pound bag, anchored by a 6.55-pound big fish, earned them the top prize of $9,180. Their dominance on the river showcased skill, strategy, and knowledge of Martinez Lake’s ever-changing conditions.
